It was pretty easy looking up the internet service providers in my area. First, I checked out the websites of the major providers AT&T and Verizon, to see if they offered plans where I live. I was in luck, FiOS is in my area! I was able to compare their plans with the local cable provider, and with other local providers as well. It really helped to see the speeds and costs side by side, so I could measure the true cost with incentives and rebates. In the end, speed won the decision for me, and I chose FiOS. It helps to know the value of what I have by seeing the competition!

How many times do you wonder “who are the internet service providers in my area“? You may be aware of the most widely advertised, but not all. Or you may think that a company is available based on advertising, but it does not reach your neighborhood. The best thing to do before comparing any internet service is to check for availability in your zip code and at your address. Most major providers have a system set up on their websites for you to do this. They’ll also extend to you significant savings for ordering online. For them it is fast, reliable, and convenient, and they pass that benefit along to you!
